Dear God, Thank you for going to boltba…

Before dinner last night, Emma wanted to pray:

Dear God, Thank you for going to boltba...

boltba = to the store

Tegnap este vacsora előtt Emma akart egy imát mondani:

It’s not cold. It’s meleg.

Emma just came back in after playing outside and she let us know, that her hands were not freezing:

It's not cold. It's meleg.

meleg = warm

We saw it in the boltba.

Emma saw something in the newspaper that she quickly recognized:

We saw it in the boltba.

boltba(n) = in the store

I need to go to the doctor. I have a fülmanó in my ear.

Emma felt something strange in her ear so she quickly made an initial medical diagnosis:

I need to go to the doctor. I have a fülmanó in my ear.

fülmanó = ear fairy

Emma valami furcsát érzett a fülében, úgyhogy gyorsan megalkotta az elsődleges orvosi szakvéleményt:

I put it in my szekrény.

Emma changed clothes for the third time by 10AM this morning. When I asked what she did with her previous clothes, she answered:

I put it in my szekrény.

szekrény = closet

Can you put it in a boríték?

Emma prepared a letter to Santa and asked help to mail it:

Can you put it in a boríték?

boríték = envelope

You said you kimossa my dress.

Emma was looking for her favorite dress in the laundry room, when she recognized that it was still among the dirty laundry so she made a remark to mommy:

You said you kimossa my dress.

kimossa = wash

I can’t állíts it!

Emma was watching a movie on the computer. Stopping the DVD player is no problem for her, but to stop playback on the computer is something that she still has to learn, so she asked help to stop the movie when we went to have a dinner:

I can't állíts it!

állíts = stop

Emma mesét nézett a számítógépen.

This one does not have párja.

Emma was helping to organize a full basket of socks we accumulated in the laundry room. When she could not find the pair of one sock she made concluded her search:

This one does not have párja.

párja = pair of
